SPONDON BOWLS CLUB is located at,

the old Asterdale Leisure Centre, Borrowash Road, Spondon, Derby, DE21 7PH.

It has two ‘Crown Greens', the "Derby" and the "Nottingham" Greens that are to the British Crown Green Bowling Association standard,

Current membership is approximately 90 and with a mix of all age groups, who enjoy competitive bowling with 17 teams (Male, Female and Mixed) in the South Derbyshire and Belper and District associations.

The "Tony Kniveton' Licensed pavilion hosts our match day games. social events and our own Cup competitions . Through the winter, events such as Short Mat bowls are a regular feature.

We are always looking for new members so come along or contact us to arrange a short demonstration to try it out.
